My name is Joe Miner (he/him) and I am a writer and an anti-racist LGBTQ+ advocate from Upstate New York.

This blog started out as a space for me to process my ever-developing thoughts on a variety of social issues and theological ideas, and continues today as a resource for LGBTQ+ and people of color who are navigating spirituality in a society that does not center them.

If you don’t understand something on my blog, I encourage you to press into the discomfort of misunderstanding. I have created a glossary of terms that I use throughout my blog to clear up any misunderstandings with the language I use, and you are always more than welcome to connect with me either through my Contact page, through Twitter, or by leaving a comment anywhere on my blog.

Thank you for opening your heart and for allowing me to speak into your life through this platform.
